OUR SERVICES

Na Domo Ni Pasifika™ provides culturally grounded, professionally informed services that support the wellbeing, dignity and empowerment of individuals, families and communities across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Led by a Registered Social Worker, our practice integrates professional knowledge, Fijian cultural identity, bicultural understanding and strengths-based approaches to support positive and sustainable change.

Culturally Responsive Practice

We honour Fijian cultural identity while respecting the diverse backgrounds, experiences and values of the individuals, families and communities we support.

Professional & Ethical Practice

Our services are guided by professional social work standards, ethical responsibilities, confidentiality, informed consent and accountability.

Strengths-Based Support

We work alongside individuals, families and communities to recognise their strengths, build confidence, make informed decisions and strengthen wellbeing.

Our Four Core Services

Na Domo Ni Pasifika™ delivers four interconnected service areas, grounded in professional social work practice, Fijian cultural identity, bicultural understanding and respect for diversity.

Social Work & Advocacy

Na Domo Ni Pasifika™ provides culturally responsive social work support, advocacy and practical guidance for individuals and families experiencing challenges.

Our support includes family wellbeing, family and sexual violence concerns, crisis intervention, housing and homelessness, service navigation and assistance in understanding available support options.

We work alongside Service Users to strengthen their voices, promote informed decision-making and support their rights, dignity and wellbeing.

Coaching & Personal Development

Our strengths-based coaching supports individuals seeking greater clarity, confidence, personal growth and direction.

Through structured conversations, goal-setting and reflection, we support individuals to recognise their strengths, overcome personal barriers and develop practical strategies for positive change.

Coaching focuses on personal development and empowerment and is not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy or clinical mental health treatment.

Professional Supervision

Na Domo Ni Pasifika™ offers reflective, culturally responsive professional supervision for social workers and other professionals working in social and community services, subject to suitability and professional requirements.

Supervision provides a confidential and structured space for critical reflection, professional development, ethical decision-making, cultural responsiveness and professional accountability.

Our approach integrates bicultural understanding, professional standards and strengths-based practice to support safe and effective service delivery.

Workshops & Community Training

We develop and facilitate culturally grounded educational workshops and community training programmes that strengthen awareness, knowledge, wellbeing and community capability.

Topics include family wellbeing, family violence prevention, crisis awareness, workplace bullying, personal development, leadership, cultural understanding and community empowerment.

Workshops are designed for individuals, families, community groups, organisations and professionals, with programmes developed according to identified needs.
